Ana Pejović

Ana Pejović is a literary professional, editor and translator from Belgrade, Serbia. She has worked in several publishing houses in Serbia, with focus on literature from post Yugoslav countries. She also worked in the non-governmental sector, aiming at promoting contemporary literature. Currently, she has been developing a platform for the promotion of contemporary literature towards children and young adults, together with writer Jasminka Petrović. Her translations include writers such as David Lodge, Hannah Arendt, Adam Haslett, Richard Owain Roberts.

Bora Babić

Bora Babić is editrix-in-chief and directress of the publishing house Akademska knjiga. She is also the co-founder and vice-president of the UPIS-Association of Serbian Professional Publishers. She began her professional career working in the publishing department for both Matica srpska Novi Sad and Izdavačka knjižarnica Zorana Stojanovića. In 2006, she founded the publishing house Akademska knjiga in Novi Sad with the aim of publishing capital academic works of domestic and foreign authors writing in the areas of social science, humanities, and natural sciences, as well as literary fiction. Thanks to its editorial team and the quality of its published titles, Akademska knjiga has quickly become a recognizable publisher in the country and in the ex Yugoslav region. It has collaborated with leading European and international publishing houses. More recently, in 2019, Akademska knjiga has become a full member of the China-CEEC Publishing Association in Beijing (covering China and 17 Central and Eastern European Countries). So far, the publishing hosue has translated and published books from 30 languages. Some of the published authors include laureates of national, as well as international literary awards.

Nenad Šaponja

Nenad Šaponja (1964) is born and lives in Novi Sad, Serbia. He is a poet, essayist, and literary critic whose verses are recognizable in contemporary Serbian poetry due to their stylistic perfection, hermetic quality and metaphysical insight. His poetry has been translated into English, French, Italian, Romanian, Macedonian, Slovak, Albanian, Azerbaijan, Chinese etc. The most popular of his books are Does the Touch of Your Soul Exist?; Sweet Death; and I Seem, Therefore I Am Not. He is also the owner and editor-in-chief of AGORA Publishing House (founded in 2002), through which he edited and published more than 400 titles. Several of them, published by AGORA, received some of the most prestigious literary prizes in Serbia.
