Joelle Dufeuilly has been translating Hungarian literature since 1998. She translated authors such as László Krasznahorkai, György Dragomán, Sándor Jászberényi… She was awarded the SGDL translation prize for Krasznahorkai’s War and her overall work as a translator.
Svetlozar Zhelev is a well known contemporary expert in the Bulgarian literary field. Former publisher, TV and radio host, he was a board member of the Bulgarian Book Association from 2006 to 2010, and president of the jury for the "Translations" program of the National Culture Fund from 2018 to 2020. He is a member of the programing committee of the "TRADUKI" network, board member of ENLIT, co-founder and board member of the "Elizabeth Kostova Foundation on Creative Writing", and a lecturer in Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" since 2013.
Elizabeta Bakovska (1969) received her BA and MA from the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje, from the English Language and Literature Department. She holds Ph.D. in gender studies from Euro-Balkan Institute. She was the editor-in-chief of Blesok, an electronic magazine for culture and literature (www.blesok.mk). She translates, writes poetry and prose, as well as literary theory and criticism.
Iris Meijer has been working as a bookseller at Linnaeus Boekhandel in Amsterdam since 2015. Apart from day-to-day sales in store, she is responsible for the selection and purchase of English titles and partially responsible for the selection and purchase of fiction and non-fiction titles. Apart from her work at Linnaeus, she co-organises the annual nationwide event De Week van het Korte Verhaal [The Week of the Short Story] and she also coordinates booksales at the Lowlands Festival.
Ana Pejović is a literary professional, editor and translator from Belgrade, Serbia. She has worked in several publishing houses in Serbia, with focus on literature from post Yugoslav countries. She also worked in the non-governmental sector, aiming at promoting contemporary literature. Currently, she has been developing a platform for the promotion of contemporary literature towards children and young adults, together with writer Jasminka Petrović. Her translations include writers such as David Lodge, Hannah Arendt, Adam Haslett, Richard Owain Roberts.
Born on August 15th, 1955 in Sevilla, Antonio Maria Avila Álvarez studied Political Sciences, Law and Economics. He has been an associate teacher of Constitutional law until 1986, associate teacher of Foreign Trade (University Carlos III) from 1994 to 1996, and from 1997 teacher of the same matter in TPGA of the Autonomous University of Madrid. CECO's teacher, he gives classes to the Master of Foreign Trade and Trade policy in the University Carlos III, Santiago de Compostela, Alcalá de Henares and University Institute Carlos V of the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Audinga Peluritytė-Tikuišienė (PhD., Assoc. Prof. at Vilnius University) was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. She has been a literary critic since 1992. From 2003, she published several research studies about contemporary Lithuanian literature; her last book being “Architectural Boundary: Contemporary Lithuanian Literature and contexts” (2016).
Tinna Ásgeirsdóttir is a translator and project manager. Ásgeirsdóttir has studied creative writing and translations at the University of Iceland and graduated with degrees in both philospohy and editing and publishing. She works part time as a project manager at the Writers’ Union of Iceland and as a translator of Swedish fiction. Among writers that she has translated are renowned author and playwright Sara Stridsberg, Matthias Edvardsson and Nina Wähä. Ásgeirsdóttir has been a jury member at both the Icelandic Translation Prize and Reykjavik City Children‘s Literary Prize.
Oana Doboşi-Potcoavă is the co-owner of the bookshop La Două Bufniţe in Timișoara.
Inga Bodnarjuka–Mrazauskas is the executive manager of the Latvian literature export platform «Latvian Literature», responsible for developing and implementing strategy for promotion of Latvian literature abroad, which includes participation in international book fairs, organizing foreign publisher, media and festival visits, translation workshops, capacity building activities for translators and publishers, culture programs abroad, etc.
