Stefan Bošković at Gradske knjižare (Podgorica, Montenegro)

EUPL2020 laureate Stefan Bošković (Montenegro) will be promoting his EUPL-winning book ‘Ministar’ at the Gradske knjižare bookshop in Podgorica, Montenegro. The event, which will take place outdoor from 8:30pm, will be hosted by Montenegrin comedian and guitarist Aleksandar Radunović Popaj.

Afonzo Cruz at ULB (Belgium)

Echoing the International Mother Language Day of February 21st, EUPL 2012 winner Afonso Cruz from Portugal will have a public meet up at ULB on February 27th at 4:00PM. The event, celebrating portuguese-speaking writers, is co-organised by Brussels-based bookshop Librebook, the ULB, and the Camões Instituto da Cooperação e da Lingua (Camões Institute of cooperation and language).

La littérature européenne au féminin - Foire du livre Bruxelles (Belgium)

A l'occasion de la journée internationale des droits des femmes, nos lauréates 2019 Laura Freudenthaler (Autriche), Sophie Daull (France), et Tatiana Tibuleac (Roumanie) parleront de femmes, d'Europe et de littérature le 8 mars à 16h sur le stand de la Place de l'Europe à la Foire du livre de Bruxelles. La rencontre sera animée par Anne Bergman-Tahon.

Announcement of 2019 EUPL Laureates

The 14 winning authors of the 2019 European Union Prize for Literature were announced on 22 May 2019 at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the European Union.

Creative writing workshop with Anja Mugerli

The EUPL 2021 Slovenian winner Anja Mugerli will lead a creative writing workshop on 10 November in Brussels. Hostel by the Culture Creative Corner, Slovenian lead cultural organisation, the event aims to bring together inspiring writers and wider Slovenian community based in Belgium.

The workshop will be followed by a short drinks reception and presentation of Anja's EUPL winning novel. Find out more and register here.
