On Friday, 26 November at 5.00pm local time, as part of the Thessaloniki Book Fair, Vakxikon Publications is inviting EUPL laureates Inga Zolude (Latvia, 2011), Gabriela Babnik (Slovenia, 2013), and Isabelle Wéry (Belgium, 2013) to present their EUPL-awarded books. The event will be moderated by author and literary critic Lilia Tsouva, with excerpts of the books read by actor Angelos Kourepis.

Our next conversation with feminist bookclub Women's Writes is pushed to November. This time, it will feature our EUPL laureates Maria Navarro Skaranger (Norway, 2020) and Ida Hegazi Høyer (Norway, 2015). On Wednesday, 24 April 2019, from 7pm, in the coastal city of Koper, Slovenia at Knjigarna Libris, EUPL laureates Selja Ahava (FI), Lidija Dimkovska (MK) and Jasmin B. Frelih (SI) will discuss their lives as authors and the impact that translation has had on their literary prominence in the wake of winning the EUPL.

Portuguese writer and EUPL 2015 laureate David Machado will be participating in the Panama International Book Fair 2020, which will take place online.

On Saturday, 23 November 2019, EUPL laureate Marta Dzido will participate in a discussion of her book "Frajda", now also available in Czech under the title "Slast" (Dokořán, 2019), translated by Anna Plasová. The event will take place at Bio Oko in Prague and is part of the Bardzo fajný festival, which is dedicated to Polish film and culture. Following the discussion of her book, the author and documentary filmmaker will participate in a presentation and screening of her film "Siłaczki".

As part of the Ljubljana Book Fair, editor Andrej Blatnik will talk to EUPL laureate Anja Mugerli (Slovenia, 2021) about Bee Family, her book of stories whose common thread is rituals or old customs typical of Slovenian culture.

On Tuesday, 6 October, at 6pm local time, EUPL 2020 laureates Maša Kolanović (Croatia) and Lana Bastašić (Bosnia and Herzegovina) will be talking about their awarded books in the park in the from of the Booksa bookshop in Zagreb, Croatia. The discussion will be moderated by Miljenka Buljević.
