La Foire du Livre de Bruxelles, Gare Maritime, Place de l'Europe (11 Rue Picard 1000 Bruxelles)
The European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL), supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, aims to put the spotlight on the creativity and diverse wealth of Europe’s contemporary literature in the field of fiction, to promote the circulation of literature within Europe and to encourage greater interest in non-national literary works. Since 2009, EUPL has recognized 176 authors. The works of the selected winners are promoted in the hopes to reach a wider and international audience, and to touch readers beyond national and linguistic borders.
On 4 April at 17:00 at la Place de l'Europe inside Brussels Book Fair, the 13 nominees will read a short extract from their book before the jury unveils the laureate and the five special mentions for the 2024 edition of the Prize. Come and join us to discover the best emerging fiction writers in Europe!
