The European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) is proud to announce the release of European Stories from Ukraine, a special publication celebrating the 15th anniversary of the prize. This anthology features new works by two Ukrainian EUPL authors: Haska Shyyan and Eugenia Kuznetsova.

We extend our gratitude to both authors for contributing two original short stories, which highlight the richness of Ukrainian literature. Published in collaboration with Literary Agency OVO, we also thank Viktoriya Matyusha, Managing Director, and the talented team of translators, editors, and illustrator Sofiia Sulii for bringing this project to life. A special acknowledgment to Andrey Kurkov for his thoughtful foreword.
