Sheila Armstrong

Sheila Armstrong is a writer from the north-west of Ireland. She is the author of How To Gut A Fish, a collection of short stories, and Falling Animals, a novel. She has been nominated for the Irish Book Awards, the Society of Authors Awards, the Kate O’Brien Award, the Edge Hill Prize and the RSL Ondaatje Prize. She was chosen as an Arts Council Next Generation Artist and an An Post Best New Irish Writer. She is working on her second novel.

Tadhg Mac Dhonnagáin

Tadhg Mac Dhonnagáin writes books, screenplays and songs and works predominantly in Irish (sometimes called Gaelic), the indigenous language of Ireland. His creative fiction-style biography of the 19th-century poet and songwriter, Antoine Ó Raiftearaí, Mise Raiftearaí an Fíodóir Focal (I am Raiftearaí, the Word-Weaver) was awarded the premier Irish-language Book of the Year Award, Gradam Uí Shúilleabháin, 2015.

Sorcha de Brún

Dr. Sorcha de Brún is a lecturer at the University of Limerick, where she teaches modern Irish prose, Irish-language film, drama and poetry. She has published essays, poems, stories and reviews and is currently working on a monograph about masculinities in contemporary Irish-language writing. She is an award-winning writer: having received the Foras na Gaeilge 1st prize at Listowel Writer's Week, the Máirtín Ó Cadhain Short Story award and several Oireachtas na Gaeilge prizes.

Ronan Colgan

Ronan Colgan is managing director of the Wordwell Publishing Group, publisher of Books Ireland, Wordwell Books and former president of Publishing Ireland, the Irish Publishers’ Association. 

Conor Kostick

Conor Kostick is an award winning author and historian based in Dublin, Ireland. As the author of sixteen books, he has twice been the chairperson of the Irish Writers Union.
