Petrit Ymery

Petrit Ymeri is the executive director of the Dituria publishing house, founded in May 1991. For several years, he was a literature teacher in high school and later a lecturer in foreign literature at the University of Tirana. Until 1991, he was a cultural journalist for the Albanian Radiotelevision and later the head of the editorial sector of the 8 November publishing house. From 2003 to 2014, Petrit Ymeri was a member of the Board of Directors of the Albanian Radiotelevision.

Ben Andoni

Ben Andoni was born in Tirana. He studied Geography and History. Since 1996, his main profession has been as a journalist. For 12 years, he was the manager of a National Cultural Supplement. He works regularly for columns concerned with national politics and Kosovar issues. He has translated more than 20 prominent authors from Slavic and English literature. He also published 5 books of his own, concerned with history, publicity and geographic issues, and is the co-authors of some reports of the Civil Society. 

Evelyne Noygues

Evelyne Noygues is a literary translatress. In 2008, she graduated from the National Eastern Languages and Civilisations Institute (Inalco) in Paris, France, with a Master 2 in "European Studies". After a double qualification in Albanian language and History, she goes from university translation to literary translation. In 2011, she joined the European Theatre Translation Network Eurodram where she translated several Albanian-speaking drama writers from Albania and Kosovo.

Entela Kasi

Entela Kasi is a poetess, novelist, translator and essayist. She is the president of the Albanian PEN Centre and a member of the ‘In search Committee Board’ of PEN International. She writes for Albanian journals and daily press, especially focusing on social movements, culture and politics. She has been invited as a guest writer by different Universities in Albania and abroad.

Ben Blushi

Ben Blushi was born in Tirana in 1969. He studied at the University of Tirana, graduating in Albanian Language and Literature, from Tirana University, Faculty of Philology. He was editor-in-chief of the newspaper Koha Jonë, and in 1999 embarked upon a political career in the cabinet of the Prime Minister of Albania. For several months he served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, in late 2000 he became the Prefect of Korça, and in 2011 he was appointed Minister of Education. Blushi is currently a Member of Parliament, representing the Socialist Party.

Tom Kuka

Enkel Demi is an Albanian writer and journalist. In November of 2016, he published his first novel under the pseudonym Tom Kuka: Hide mbi kalldrëm (Jujube on Cobblestone), a crime novel that takes place in Tirana, Albania, during the 1930s. Two years later, in November 2018, Kuka returned with another novel, Gurët e vetmisë (Stones of Loneliness), a family saga that narrates the ordeal of escaping the land of the ancients, of a population that migrates and leaves its former life far behind. For this novel, he won the national prize for literature in 2019.

Rudi Erebara

Rudi Erebara was born in 1971. He is a poet, novelist and translator. After graduating in 1995 at the Academy of Fine Arts, he embarked on a career as a political analyst, a journalist in several national newspapers and as an editor in chief. He is the author of two books of poetry, Fillon Pamja (There Begins the View), 1994, and Lëng argjendi (Silver Juice), 2013. His two novels are Vezët e thëllëzave (Eggs of the Quails), 2010, and Epika e yjeve të mëngjesit (The Epic of the Morning Stars), 2016.
