Daina Opolskaitė

Daina Opolskaitė Kovalčikienė was born in 1979 in Vilkaviškis. She graduated from Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences (former Vilniaus pedagoginis universitetas), where she studied Lithuanian philology, and now works as a teacher at a high school in Vilkaviškis. In 2000 she’s got Lithuanian Writers Union prize for the first book (Drožlės), in 2018 has won Antanas Vaičiulaitis and Jurgis Kunčinas literature awards for short stories. D. Opolskaitė is very prolific in youth literature written for teenagers as well (during 2015-2018 she wrote 3 novels).

Undinė Radzevičiūtė

Undinė Radzevičiūtė was born in 1967. She graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts where she studied art history, theory and criticism. She worked for ten years as a creative director for international advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett.

Her first short novel was published in 2003 and was favourably reviewed. Fishes and Dragons is her fourth and biggest book so far. Two of her earlier novels have been translated into Russian, and one into Estonian. Her new novel is due to be published in 2015.

Giedra Radvilavičiūtė

Giedra Radvilavičiūtė was born in 1960 in Panevėžys, Lithuania. After finishing secondary school in Panevėžys, she graduated from Vilnius University in 1983 with a degree in Lithuanian language and literature. After that, she worked for a few years as a school teacher in her native region of north Lithuania. From 1987 to 1994, she worked as a journalist in Vilnius, for family and parenting magazines, and from 1994 to 1998 she lived in the USA, where her husband Giedrius Subačius was teaching at Chicago University.

Laura Sintija Černiauskaitė

Laura Sintija Černiauskaitė (b. 1976). Prose writer, playwright. She was born in Vilnius. In 1994 she left Vilnius Senvage School and in 1996 – enrolled into Vilnius University Department of Extramural Studies to study the Lithuanian language and literature. In 1998-1999 she worked as a freelance publicist at magazine Malonumas, in 2000 – as a language editor at children magazine Genys, in 2001-2002 as a journalist at magazine for young mother Tavo vaikas.

Rūta Elijošaitytė-Kaikarė

Rūta Elijošaitytė-Kaikarė is a literary manager and managing director of the Lithuanian Publishers Association. Since 2005, she has been participating in various literary and literary management activities. She coordinates the Creative Europe project VERSOPOLIS in Lithuania. She is also a member of various literary work groups: Vilnius Book Fair organizational committee, Literature Council, Vilnius - World Capital of Books.

Laimantas Jonušys

Laimantas Jonušys is a translator and literary critic. He has translated about 30 books from English into Lithuanian. He has also published numerous articles and essays on literature, culture, politics; and published three books himself.

Audinga Peluritytė-Tikuišienė

Audinga Peluritytė-Tikuišienė (PhD., Assoc. Prof. at Vilnius University) was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. She has been a literary critic since 1992. From 2003, she published several research studies about contemporary Lithuanian literature; her last book being “Architectural Boundary: Contemporary Lithuanian Literature and contexts” (2016).

Daiva Tamošaitytė

Daiva Tamošaitytė Ph. D. is a philosopher, musicologist, piano player, essayist and social activist. She published 6 books, with 3 translated being into the English (2 fiction and 1 monograph). She also wrote over 450 articles on music, literature, culture and political philosophy for Lithuanian, Indian and American press.Her thesis in Philosophy was defended in 2009. She published 47 research papers and reviews; as well as worked in the field of Asian studies.
